4h Fez Foodie tasting tour, Fez food tour is designed for males and females who want to go a bit further to explore Fez’s culinary culture, habits of the “Fassis” people, and the World of Moroccan Street Food. Pick up from your hotel/riad at 10:00 am to enjoy a 4h Fez Food tour, with your licensed passionate tour guide. Walkthrough the winding alleys of fez old medina; and get an introduction to the history, culture, traditions, Moroccan gastronomy, and farmed foods for all Moroccans.
On our 4h Fez Foodie Tasting tour :
-You will test several types of bread includes varieties of Malawi, Msemmen, Baghrir, TARID, Chafanj as well as Harsha.
-At the honey souk taste an array of delicious wild honey and Samen (aged butter). For Pastry cases, be sure you are full of Chebakia, Briouats, the egg roll which is served either sweet or savory.
-Our tour will not complete without tasting comfort Liquids that can also be found in classic soups such as Bisara, made with dried fava beans and flavored with cumin and olive oil, and el-Hariri, traditionally eaten, especially during the holy month “Ramadan” to break the day’s fast.
Shortly, finish with tasting khlia3, a kind of meat jerky preserved in fat and maa3kouda (deliciously deep-fried potato fritters). Other specialty stands abound: uncounted flavors of nougat commonly found close to mosques and shrines, like dates, dried fruits and of course, endless varieties of pure Morocco olives.
