Itinerary

Day 1 Fez -Ifrane – Midelt –  Ziz valley- Merzouga

Today, Pick up at 07.30 am from the hotel/riad travel from Fez to the Merzouga desert. However, this will not be any ordinary drive. Certainly, we will stop along the way in a number of enjoyable destinations. Firstly, The first stop Ifrane, the alpine-style townhome, and cedar forests situated in Morocco’s Middle Atlas Mountains to observe/feed the Barbary Monkey…After that, Moving to the popular pitstop of Midelt ( break for lunch). Then, carrying on through the lush green Ziz Valley before reaching Merzouga.

Upon arrival Merzouga, transfer to the hotel to store your luggage. The camels will be waiting for us for a camel trekking experience (around 45 min) to enjoy the sunset on camelback to nomad tents where you will have dinner under the starry sky with a Berber folklore show (overnight desert camp).

DAY 2:  Merzouga – Rissani – Tinghir – Todra Gorges – Dades valley –Skoura – Ouarzazate

Begin your day with a memorable sunrise over the sand dunes of the Merzouga desert, and have a delicious Breakfast and shower at the hotel/riad. Leave Merzouga to Rissani for an enjoyable excursion to see kasbah, Old palaces and visit Tomb Moulay-Ali-Sherif. After that, Continue our drive to Todra Gorges, stop to discover together the place, and Get information about the history, culture, traditions, the way of life.

In valley Todra you’ll have also a general idea about how the Tribal chief /sheik manages life at the tribe. (lunch at Todra valley ). Visit Kelaat Mgouna, Berber city which celebrates yearly a festival of roses in May. Certainly, with your driver, we’ll meet locals and see rose water products made only from the rose used for face and body. Arrival Ouarzazate drop off hotel/riad (dinner/overnight)

Day 3: Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou- Tizi N’tichka Pass- Marrakech

After breakfast, make our way to Marrakech where the Sahara adventure end, on our way from Ouarzazate discover fascinating sights including Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah (UNESCO-site) natural decoration for many films. For instance, “Lawrence of Arabia”, “The Mummy “, “ Jesus of Nazareth.  Passing through the High Atlas  Mountains with short stops to enjoy the fresh air, and certainly capture unforgettable photos.

Arrival, Tichka breaks for lunch. Then, Continue to Marrakech city via the Tizin’Tichka pass while watching wonderful views. In addition, Berber Villages. Finally, On arrival at Marrakech, transfer to your  Hotel/Riad. End of 3 days desert tour fez to marrakech.

We are family of 4 with 2 small kids, and we took a private hire large car with all our luggage from Meknes to Volubilis, Moulay Idriss and then to our hotel in Fes, which was 7 hours incl sightseeing. Our driver Ismail was great! Throughout he was polite, friendly, knowledgeable and knew where to stop for a view or eat or what to avoid. Highly recommend! Inexpensive, amazing service, friendly driver, easy to communicate with. The van was a brand new Mercedes van. driver arrived early and waited for us as we were running late. He had water waiting for us and drove speedily to get us to airport...same price as using a taxi/car.om Careem (Morocco version of Uber) which is insane for a Mercedes sprinter van...Dricer was super nice and friendly. Best tour in Marokko.

Inoubliable, fantastique experience
Nous avons eu une experience merveilleuse avec notre guide Imad14. Imad, un homme aimable et très sympathique, nous a emmené dans un voyage inoubliable dans le désert de Merzouga. Au départ, 7 heures de route nous paraissaient beaucoup, mais rien n'est plus éloigné de la vérité. Les arrêts étaient super/belles et les paysages admirables, avec le paysage désertique inoubliable avec 2 fantastiques balades à dos de chameau comme cerise sur le gâteau. Le séjour dans le camp de tentes était également meilleur que ce à quoi nous nous attendions (toilettes et douche dans la tente). Nos jeunes ont même pu profiter un moment du sandboard. Cette partie de notre tournée à travers le Maroc est certainement l'un de nos moments préférés. Même le dîner au camp nous a surpris en termes de goût et de qualité. Un grand merci Imad !
